Marathon Training & Life Along the Way
A personal section about distance running, medicine, and the people I meet on the road.
My Marathon Training Journey
Marathon training began as a challenge and quickly became a practice in patience, discipline, and growth. Week by week, long runs, recovery days, and small improvements started shaping not only race goals, but also daily life.
Training and Medicine
The deeper I go into marathon preparation, the more I appreciate the connection between endurance training and medicine: injury prevention, recovery science, sleep, nutrition, and understanding how the body adapts under stress. It is a constant reminder that performance and health should move together.
Life Interactions
Running has also changed how I interact with people. Training partners, race volunteers, strangers on early morning routes, and supportive friends all become part of the story. These moments of encouragement and shared effort are as meaningful as crossing any finish line.
